As living organism in this planet, humans are different form other animals because we meditate. We do not live in this world just eat and sleep. We want to see through the physical world and know what is behind it, what is governing the nature. This has brought many scientific discoveries. But when the question goes to “What is the meaning of life?”, the answer is not confirmed as any kind of the scientific questions. I think about this question often. The answer is different for different people and varies in different cultures. As for me, I did not know the answer several years ago. Now, I have the answer. I would like to share it with you at this place.

Christianity teaches people to love, with all your soul and mind. Buddhism says if something you can not accomplished this life, you can finish at the next life. I say the meaning of life lies in the process of life. The process of life is the process of learning, learning how to love, how to love your parents, love your beloved, and love your children. The process of life is the process of discovering, discover the beauty of the world, discover the secrets of the nature, and discover the meaning of life.

At last, we are all alone. In the process of life, at least we have someone to care about, we have someone to love. We are not different from all the living creature in this world, because we are born, we grow up, we senesce and we die. All we left when we die is only our child. We may not know the real secret of life at this short life, but we have our children to continue to meditate and to discover the real meaning of life.
